New Chapter Checklist
Chapter Leaders should complete the following checklist within the first month of establishing a new chapter:

  • Schedule a “Get Started” conference call with a VOICES OF BLACK GRANDMOTHERS LLC Corporate Team Member

  • Get some colleagues who share your enthusiasm and goals to assist you in the creation of your local chapter. These members can be ambassadors to help you grow and build your chapter and grow everyone’s network.

  • Find a Meeting Location – preferably with a private room for meetings with a projector set up is an added bonus for presentations.

  • Secure a regular monthly date & time – lunch meetings seem to work best (11:30am-1pm) but early morning times have also been successful (7:30-9am) in other networking organizations.

  • Find qualified speakers and schedule them 3-6 months in advance.

  • Promote your first meeting & invite your network.

  • Hold your first meeting & have fun!

  • Submit the After Meeting form

  • Complete this checklist and you are well on your way to having an exciting and successful as a VOICES OF BLACK GRANDMOTHERS LLC chapter leader.
